Privacy Policy

HoMoment (“we” or “the app”) is an iPhone app for keeping the moments that matter. Our core promise is simple: your content belongs to you. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
1. We don’t collect your data
HoMoment has no accounts, requires no sign-up, and runs no developer-operated servers.
We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information or anything you record. The app contains no ads and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
2. Where your content lives
Your timelines, moments, tags, photos, videos and voice notes are stored on your iPhone and synced through Apple’s CloudKit to the private database in your own iCloud account, using your own iCloud storage.
This data is hosted by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy and is not accessible to us. Text such as titles, notes and tags is end-to-end encrypted using CloudKit encrypted fields.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, or have turned off iCloud for the app, your data stays on your iPhone only and will be lost if you delete the app.
3. Permissions
Camera: to take photos and videos of your moments.
Microphone: to record voice notes and the sound in videos.
Photos: to choose photos and videos from your library, and to save timeline long images you create.
Notifications: to deliver the reminders you set for your timelines. Reminders are local notifications and never pass through a server.
Face ID / passcode: for App Lock, if you turn it on. Authentication is handled entirely by iOS; we never receive biometric data.
Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature, and can be turned off anytime in Settings.
4. Purchases
HoMoment Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by the Apple App Store. Apple handles your payment details; we never receive them. Your membership status is verified on your device via Apple’s StoreKit.
5. Feedback
If you contact us through Send Feedback in the app or by email, we receive the message and email address you choose to send. We use them only to reply and to improve the app.
6. Your choices
You can edit or delete anything in the app at any time. Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then are removed permanently.
You can export all your content for free anytime under Me → Export All Data (original media files plus JSON / Markdown text).
You can also delete all of the app’s iCloud data in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
7. Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will be noted in the app.
